Why Recycle?

Typically waste electric and electric equipment (WEEE) has been sent to landfill, a significant proportion of well over 1,000,000 tonnes of WEEE is produced by business in the UK each year. The WEEE directive has been added to and amended over the past decade, it will help address the environmental and social issues created by disposing of WEEE in this manner.

The directive gives the legal framework to ensure that from July 1 st 2007 all WEEE both domestic and commercial be re-used, recycled or treated. There is significant emphasis on waste prevention. What can be re-used is, what can’t should be treated and recycled, conforming to stringent standards.

Our re-furbished computers are currently offered Free of Charge to support charities such as Help The Aged, which provides computers, broadband and training to the elderly.
